Tali is also a frequent performer with the Thornton Jazz Orchestra and Concert Jazz Orchestra.

Tali is a member of the USC trumpet quintet. This group was awarded first prize at the 2023 National Trumpet Competition in the small ensemble division.

Interlochen

Tali graduated from the Interlochen Arts Academy in May of 2021. At Interlochen, she studied with Mr. Ken Larson and was in orchestra under the direction of Dr. Leslie Dunner.

Tali was a member of Interlochen's first all female brass quintet with fellow Interlochen Students: Lydia Hanje (trumpet '22), Natalie Kloos (horn '22), Sarah Goldberg (trombone '21), and Claudia Shassberger (tuba '21).

Carmel

Tali attended Carmel High School from her Freshman year through Junior year.

Tali was in the Carmel Marching Band for four years starting in 8th grade. She played mellophone in the 2016 show, Adagio Presto, which won the Bands of America Grand National Championships and was the start of Carmel's three year winning streak. The following year Tali played lead in Serenity (2017). During her Sophomore year the band put on Tali's favorite show, Voyage to Valhalla, featuring excerpts from Symphony No. 2 by Gustav Mahler and The Ring Cycle by Richard Wagner.

Tali's fourth and final year in the group was the most rewarding and challenging of her time at Carmel. During the spring of 2019 Tali's dad, Chris Duckworth, was deployed overseas to Kuwait with the Indiana Army National Guard. Walking into her most challenging academic year and staying busy with music, Tali auditioned and won the position of Head Drum Major. Tali learned a lot about leadership and responsibility in a short amount of time but loved everything she did.

In addition to marching band, Tali was also principal trumpet of Wind Symphony 1 and the Carmel's Symphony Orchestra. During the winter months, Tali played in Jazz Ensemble 1 and the Holiday Spectacular Pit Orchestra. Finishing out the Spring with Pep Band, Solo and Ensemble, All State Honor Band, and managing the track team.

In 2019, Tali along with the Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Thomas Chen performed at The Midwest Clinic in Chicago, Illinois. Along with a presentation, the orchestra performed Dvorak's Symphony No. 8.

Since graduation she has returned to Carmel to teach beginner trumpet students in the classroom and privately. Over the summer Tali taught alongside Mr. Ben Maynard at Clay Middle School. She also taught privately giving lessons at students' homes and online.

Tali has studied with Terry Everson (Boston University), David Krauss (Metropolitan Opera), Ken Larson (Interlochen Arts Academy), Paul Morton (Lutheran Summer Music), Marcus Printup (BUTI Jazz), and Charles Conrad (Carmel).

In addition, Tali has had the pleasure of attending masterclasses with Wayne Bergeron, James Moorison, Wynton Marsalis, and Håkan Hardenberger.
